Hi, I'm Andri! I come from the tiny island of Cyprus, which I left more than 15 years ago to study abroad and learn as much of life as I can. I am now based in Geneva, Switzerland, with my husband and two kids.
When I was a child, my Dad wanted me to become a Doctor, while I wanted to be a Physicist. I became a Doctor in Physics, and now we are both happy!
My Journey
My adult life has been a journey of beautiful twists, and unexpected ups-and-downs
Every few years, I've changed countries and cities, adapted to new languages and cultures, bid farewell to old friends, and embraced the art of making new ones.
From a Particle Physics PhD at Imperial College London to 8 years of postdoctoral research at Oxford University and CERN, I learned to embrace and even chase change.
My most significant career pivot was in 2020 when, after 16 years in Physics, I took the leap into the corporate world of a Fortune 50 company.
This adventure, coupled with my roles as a 3-Dan martial arts instructor, licensed skydiver, and proud Mom of two, has instilled in me a deep understanding of navigating challenges, overcoming obstacles, dealing with imposter syndrome and inner critics, as well as identifying opportunities for personal and professional growth.
Balancing Diverse Roles Underscores The Importance Of Staying True To My Authentic Self
Drawing wisdom from personal experiences and formal coaching training, I intentionally break away from autopilot, reassess with a mindful approach, and align with passions.
At the same time, my journey, filled with unexpected turns, highs, and lows, revealed the impact of limiting beliefs and all the positive aspects of overcoming them.
My Mission
Having faced the fear and challenges of leaving my own comfort zone, again-and-again, at different life and career-stages, I fully empathize with the courage needed to 'take the leap' into what may seem unknown at the time.
Now, my mission is clear: guide others to shift from a fixed to a growth mindset, dare to dream boldly, and pursue a life of unwavering bravery and determination.
